Cannot find ASIO driver for my interface (windows 11)
I'm trying to configure audio settings for a guitar plugin but i do not have the Komplete Audio ASIO driver for Windows 11.
I installed the driver for Windows 10 just to see if it would work; it didn't. I've tried the Realtek driver, ASIO4all, none of them work and still all i hear is the sound of the DI guitar.
My interface is a Komplete Audio 1. I'm quite new to all of this and if anyone can advise on how to fix the problem i'd appreciate greatly. If you need screenshots, let me know!

Annnnd that's likely to be the problem. When you're using headphones mix control is used to mix the amount of input signal (i.e., the raw guitar/microphone) and the host signal (i.e., the sounds coming from the computer). That's the feature called "Direct monitoring" and is normally used for monitoring when you're singing to eliminate the delays you get when you're processing through a DAW. If you have it set to 100% input you'll hear the guitar without effects and none of the processed signal. Whack the knob to 100% host and you should be good to go.

Windows 11 is not significantly different. A driver that works for 10 should also work on 11.
Of course a Realtek driver will not work for a Native Instruments product. Likewise, ASIO4ALL is not an ASIO driver and is not a valid replacement for the correct driver from Native Instruments.

Yep, as PK says the driver architecture between W10 and W11 isn't that different so those drivers will almost certainly work.

I've already mentioned in the post that I tried the windows 10 driver and it did not work. Please don't comment if you can't help

Simply saying "did not work" is not adequate if you expect assistance.

Can we comment to reinforce that the KA 1 is not supported under Windows 11?
And what you are seeing is probably 100% normal?
If there is no official driver for this device (and this OS) - specifically written and provided by NI - there is no driver.
If you are intent on using this device - your only workaround might be to consider Windows 10?

Just to check, do you have the mix control on the front panel turned to "Host" rather than "Input"? Are you listening through headphones or speakers ?

I realize the site says "compatible". Yet - there is no Windows 11 specific driver:
Now - I get it - there are devices in the big world whose drivers are interchangeable between Windows 10/11 - however this one appears to not be one of them.
Another key issue is these drivers date to before Windows 11 was even available. (Oct 5. 2021)
Tried to help two other folks with this in the last couple weeks and it was a no-go no matter what we tried.
Could have something to do with the later version of Windows 11 as well.
