Community rewards are back
We're thrilled to reintroduce community rewards! Instead of just focusing on points from answering posts each month as before, we're now spotlighting true product experts who enhance our community with their knowledge.
Whether it's sharing tips & tricks, how-tos, user guides, or tutorials - your contributions could earn you a 50 USD/EUR (or local currency equivalent) e-voucher for our web shop.
Here's how to participate:
- Write informative content about Native Instruments or iZotope products with clear steps. Include images or videos if possible.
- Tag your post with "Tips" to make sure we don't miss it.
- Publish your post in the relevant product category.
Each month, our team will nominate members who have shared valuable content, and we'll vote internally to select the contributor(s) of the month.
Have fun and look forward to all your tips and tricks.

Our first round of contributors who will be receiving prizes are:
@DunedinDragon for sharing tips on how to speed up Kontakt libraries' loading time on Windows 10.
Also, a big shout-out to @Oscar Morante for their work on Kontrol S-Series MK3 DAW integration with Reason.
Look out for their featured posts. Gift vouchers are already on their way to both contributors. 💫

I think that this is a very good idea. I just also thinks that all the tips ought to have their own subforum with subject division like a support section in the forum that do not allow for user comments but only exists as a compendium of help based on user created content but edited and compiled by an "Editor in charge". I myself for a very long time have toyed with the idea of suggesting this but both I did not have the proper forum access (and maybe not enough knowledge) and also I am far from sure that e.g. I myself would like to be Editor of that (especially not with the way things have been going here for me the last month or so) and not only it is a lot of responsibility, and would need need some skill but I also wouldn't know who else to point to.
The "Editor in charge" idea also built on the Editor actively selecting posts in the forum and asking user permission to either copy posts or do a light edit and copy. Or even better then ask the user to do a light edit on the post to turn it into a more general help article by user.
I am in particular referring to e.g. something like this by JesterMgee that ought really not go to waste : How to recover my KK presets after recent KOMPLETE upgrade ?

I like the idea of having a guest editor curate the best content. Do you think it would make sense to create a dedicated subforum for this? Maybe a section similar to the tips and tricks area on the Maschine page is enough?

Do you think it would make sense to create a dedicated subforum for this? Maybe a section similar to the tips and tricks area on the Maschine page is enough?
My original idea were to make a clearly defined area with clearly defined topic areas that allowed the compiled content to be used as a quick reference by forum users and Mods alike when answering questions both as topics but also as single posts. So my idea were like a small help reference collection inside the forum as opposed to the support.native-instruments.com pages.
Apart from that then I myself are not in position to tell how things are best done since I also thinks that everything also depends on the over-all design of the forum which in the hands of others and that it needs to be placed as you yourself and others finds best when you are designing.
I also still thinks that all of that could also encompass 'simple' 'tips & tricks'. I don't know exactly how much I am allowed to reference from what has been previous private conversation with someone else but I think that we could also do with a best of the best compilation of tutorial like 'tips & tricks' for what we think relevant. Like e.g. DAW use , like the essence of stuff. It might sound very simple to some but I believe that it all takes very careful and very thoughtful curation and authoring to strike the absolute best balance between delivering enough information and trying to keep i simple and condense it all into the essence that enables and inspires users rather than becoming a massive and wall-like collection of information that will put off people.
