I once saw a dj using traktor and he also had the virtual dj open to detect the controller. He told me: I only have the virtual dj to detect the controller but as you are seeing I mix with traktor.
Does anyone know how to do it please?
The FLX4 doesn't require a connection to the VDJ before starting traktor. Some Numark and Akai gear does.
It is a matter of sending Sysex message to disable the demo mode which Traktor is not capable of generating that type of message.

You are asking for a program, that has a lot of mappings for different DJ controllers, which in turn then can control Traktor?

Oh that should be easy. On Windows you can do that with virtual audio cable or maybe voicemeeter banana.
And then route virtual DJ into a Traktor live deck. But what will you get out of it? All your music has to be in Virtual DJ and you control virtual DJ .. only Traktor effects? I don't get it.
This will also introduce some audio latency, not sure if it would affect beat type of effects (Delay, Gater). I'd just use VST efects in VDJ. Wish Traktor could do that.
