Audio dropouts and performance issues after new update on M1 Max Macs

Sorry, so Macbook Pro 2021, M1 Max chip, 32GB RAM, macOS Sonoma 14.1.2 (had the same issue with Ventura as well), RME Fireface 800.

using 48kHz, Buffer usually 128 samples, but tries much higher multiples too, helps a little but the issue is the same. Using lots of other plugins, no issues with them.

So, my issue is crazy crackles and popping when using maschine as VST/AU plugin (MIDI mode). even hitting one note produces these artifacts and also there is a significant delay. Using Reaper as DAW. It was better with the earlier maschine v. 2.17.4 - now the issue is more pronounced.

Standalone maschine is kinda ok, this more of a plugin problem. however, the CPU load is not distributed evenly in any mode, always cores 1&2 out of 10 go to red

Both my M1 MacMini 16GB and M1 Max MBP 64GB (latest Ventura Update) have the same issue here, seems like GPU utilization is crazy when crackles/pops start, ie. for many Plug-Ins (once window is opened).

Hitting REC kills it very quickly...?

Is the any place to download 2.17.4 app or a rollback mechanism, cannot work...many thanks.

EDIT: Just found a 2.16.1 app, on both Macs instant cure...can even work with 128 smp buffers at 44.1 again...

I am also having these same issues with a Mac Studio with M1 Ultra , Mac OS Ventura 13.6.1, is there any way to get back to the previous version of the Maschine Software as 2.17.4 was completely fine, waiting for a fix to become available is a bit counter productive imo , I would have expected by now to be able to get a previous software version from a support downloads page of some sort .

I haven't used my Maschine that much lately, but it seems I am having the same issue on a normal M1, 16gb of ram.

Yesterday I loaded 1 kit, 2 tracks with a drumloop, just to sketch out a very basic and simple idea. When I added a polysynth track, heavy crackling, sound dropouts, basically unusable.

Such a behavior I would expect loading 30+ tracks with cpu heavy VTS's and a bunch of effects.

My settings, which I haven't been changed for quite a while: 44100 sample rate and 512 buffer size. I am on Maschine 2.17.5 , and macOS Sonoma 14.2.1

EDIT: just out of curiosity I loaded a few older projects with a lot more going on, they worked fine. I started a few new projects, with some random stuff (kits, loops, VST's), just to cause cpu load. I wasn't able to reproduce the problem I had yesterday.
