Automation/modulation improvements

1) Be able to record pattern changes (across multiple groups) when played live. Preferably changes are recorded as pattern/clip changes so we can do a mix on the fly/live and then edit to clean up. This will lead to organic mixes.
2) Also be able to record a live performance/pattern changes/scene changes directly to an audio file.
3) Be able to use Perform FX on an individual sound instead of only on a group.
4) Be able to pin any VST in Maschine (not just NKS approved ones). Simply add each VST in a window that can be pinned. It's really a pain when working and you go to a different sound and the VST window disappears unless you click back on that original sound playing the VST). Be also good to have a minimise option (like a mini rack) where you can keep an instument/effect pinned but smaller and with easy access when you're ready to use again.

Presets for automations, like lines, curves, to apply to delay, reverb, resonance etc.

To save the Master plugins "chain" would be a great improvement...

Hello,
I would love to have multiple parameters per macro but with a transmission graph. That means I can "paint" an input/output curve. So let's say I have parameter a moving linear with the macro parameter b could rise first slowly then later faster, of course inversions too, so one parameter goes up and another goes down if I move a macro.

MIDI macro view, as a device in the plugin view of a "sound".
I use Maschine+ to process two of my external synths. Currently the midi macro view for external midi devices on Maschine Plus is in a separate menu than a sounds plugin view. This means I have to tab between two menus for channels on Maschine that are sending midi control and midi cc to a hardware device and also processing its audio. Allowing for, or creating a "device" for, the macro view to be placed inline with the audio effects / devices view on a channel means one less menu to dive through.
--- Example. Sound 1: [SH01A (midi)] [overdrive] [EQ] [chorus] [ + ]
Even on "sounds" that don't process any audio but only send midi, having the midi macro for that midi device accessible from the same place as other sound means I would be able to edit midi parameters and record automation for audio and midi devices in the exact same way minus a couple menu dives.
The longer goal feature that I hope this could enable... being able to place custom Reaktor midi processing devices/ensembles in line before midi devices, just like audio effects, for whatever midi reasons that may come to mind: sequencing, arpeggiation, scale quantization, "chord memory", microtonal stuff, etc. (I think this part also falls into the purview of the Assistive Playing Tools discussion...as midi "effects" and midi processing
can also beARE already used for accessibility purposes by musicians and non musicians of all skill and ability levels.)--- Example. Sound 2: [reaktor device for processing midi (midi)] [SH01A (midi)] [fx1] [fx2] [ + ]

The ability to assign external midi cc control to parameters on Maschine+ standalone, like a midi learn function etc. you can do it on desktop but not directly from the hardware, so impossible on +

BT MIDI would be grea too BTW :DDDDD
I wish to have possibilite to connect M+ to my iPad without CME MIDI adapters 😉

while there are some great ideas here, please ignore them for now and just start by allowing us to simply draw straight lines and curves in automation. Just that for now and then we can move on to LFO’s and automating mutes lol
lets get the basics first please

For live performance :
- assign multiple parameters to a macro
- define a minimum and maximum value for a parameter assigned to a macro
- set a direction for each parameter on a macro
Just the way macros work in Massive X, but for any parameter in Maschine

The min max values for a macro parameter would be really useful. Example: I just recently made a midi macro view for my Virus Snow. One of the controls is mapped to the filter type selection. Only the first 8-10 increments out of 128 steps actually corresponds to a filter type...so dialing it in becomes really fiddly.

Thanks for keeping investing in the Maschine+ project as we do (M+ is still the most powerful, feature rich and modern standalone music box on the market).
Proper MIDI Program change handling and triggering (on project load, pattern start, etc), and MIDI aftertouch recording and playing back would be very helpful.
Also, visual modulation editing would enhance the M+ workflow drastically.

Can we improve the automation curves? When using the Tape Stop or LPF Automation, the effect sounds clicky. When I'm producing R&B or Trap and I want that buttery LPF Automation transition into the next section of the song, it takes away from the smoothness or fluidity of the transition.

BMP AUTOMATION OR DIFFERENT BPM IN EACH PATTERN
NEW SAMPLER> TRAKTOR VINYL SAMPLER (ABLE TO USE A SAMPLER WITH VINYL CODE) AND RECORD SCRACHT
EVIDENTLY THERE ARE MANY THINGS STATED IN OTHER COMMENTS WITH WHICH I AGREE...

For now, keep it to the basics. As a product manager I would go with this roadmap
- Make automation visible by changing the parameter values when they are automated. Right now you only see a dot indicating that there exists an automation, but you don't see the value changing live. That would already be better than we have right now.
- Next: Make automation visible by showing it in the patterns/clips.
- Next: Make them editable besides only overriding with a live recording. I actually thought about how to do it yesterday. Maybe you can use one of the encoder to move left and right on the timeline while using the touch strip to draw the values from 0-127. I don't know how it feels, probably worth to do a little prototype.

Follow up after the basics:
I think the octatrack and it's fader is brilliant for complex live automation. You could do the same on maschine.
Use the group bank or pad buttons as scene which you can activate or deactive. A scene let's you slide multiple parameters from state a to state b and back to state a. Maschine does not have a fader, but it has the slider. You could use the dots to indicate where the fader is. That feature would elevate maschines live performance and automation capabilities massively. Please have a look how people use the octatrack for that:
