I made this script in 2021 because I wanted my MASCHINE MIKRO MK3 to work in Ableton Live the way it works in MASCHINE. Clips on the pads in their colours, my Drum Rack on the pads, scales, Note Repeat, undo, and no mouse.
Since then more than 2,300 producers have bought it. It runs on the MIKRO MK3, the MK3 and MASCHINE+, in Live 11 and 12.1+, on Windows and Mac. Current version: v1.6.1.

Without a script, Live sees MASCHINE as a plain MIDI controller: the pads don't know your clips and nothing lights up. With it, you launch clips, play your drums, play notes in key, record, quantize and undo from the hardware, and every pad shows Live's own colours.

REQUIREMENTS

Do I need to run the MASCHINE software?
No. It only needs to be installed, for the drivers.
Does it work with Live 12?
Yes, Live 12.1 and later, and Live 11.
Mac or Windows?
Both.
Do I need to map anything?
No. Load the included template once, pick the script in Live, switch MASCHINE to MIDI mode and play.
Will v1 get more updates?
v1 is complete at v1.6.1. New work goes into v2, and v1 owners get it at 50% off.
Does it use the MK3's screens?
Not in v1. The colour screens come in v2.
