Consolidating a track leads to a rough "cutting" or "popping" sound at the end
Hi there! I've been using Komplete 13's assortment of guitar plugins and I must say that for the most part am super impressed with the quality and sound design. My one issue that I seem to be getting quite often is when I go to consolidate and export the track in wav. form, there seems to be an overlap in the chords strummed. I've attached an image of what it usually looks like for me. When the file is being played on repeat, there doesn't seem to be any real awkward "popping" sound, but it only occurs upon export at the very end when the chords stop strumming. For reference the DAW I am using is FL Studio. Any tips are appreciated! Thanks in advance

Hey Dariush, is this happening with the VST2 and the VST3 ? With Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol ?

Hi Jeremy! Thanks for the message. Occurs with both plugin types. And using Kontakt only, best!

Are your libraries installed on an external hard drive ? What are the audio settings in FL Studio?

installed them all on my ssd internal drive. Audio settings are as follows:

Could you tell us which library is used exactly and what preset / pattern, etc...? What soundcard are you using? Have you tried smaller buffer sizes ? Can you also provide an audio example ?

Hi Jeremy. I've mainly been using the Electric Sunburst Deluxe on the "Rock School" preset with the "Rock School C Mtd" pattern. My Soundcard is a NVIDIA High Definition Audio. I've noticed that changing the buffer size doesn't help. Please find attached an audio clip of 1 loop consolidated of the preset in question. You'll notice the clicking sound at the end, so when I go to copy/paste this loop over and over the "clicking" sound occurs at the end of every loop. I've tried using declicking methods to lessen the sound that is being heard but unfortunately no result is effective.

It might just be that the patterns are not meant to be played until the end. There are key switches for endings.

These "ending key switches", are they keys that are mapped to no specific pattern like this? Or are they specific key switch endings that each preset comes with?

Thank you so much! Really appreciate the step-by-step 🙏🏼 Problem is solved. All the best
