Mac0S-27 (new mac mini M6) cant install Reaktor (and others)

Hi, I know the official status is "Stuff isnt compatible on macos27" but I just bought a mac mini yesterday that ships with 27….. moving over from PC and terying to get my stuff setup.

So far it's been pretty seamless and everything just instals and works…. untill I tried to install Reaktor, FM8 and a couple of other things that actuall don't matter to me (creator tools etc). and it just fails. I can't even manually install Reaktor from he download in my account on the web, as that installer fails with an error telling me I need intel hardware…even though (as I was aware) reaktor 6.5 is supposed to support apple silicon.

Is this just a case of…M6-new, OS27 new… just chill and wait?
Or is there some workaround to get that stuff working?

Anyone else tried this stuff yet?

There is a bunch of info online about changing full disk permisions and stuff…none of that changes anything btw.

I tried to install FM8 and you are correct. However, macOS 27 is unsupported at the moment, so some glitches are to be expected. Might be the problem with installer being outdated. In any case, I would reach out to support for help.

As a side note, both Kontakt 8 and Maschine 3 work. So is Mk3 keyboard controller.

Yeah, everything else has been fine. Moving over from PC, so thought it would be more of a headache than it has been to be honest. But can confirm everything else (at least they install ok) seems fine.

FM8, Reaktor 6 (have not tried Reaktor player as of yet) Creator Tools all fail in the same(?) way

Yeah, have created a ticket over at inmusic as directed by the ni support chatbot thingy. Will see if anything happens.

I should point out that I tried disabling filevault, and got the same results as with it enabled

Have also just noticed that Kontakt "Previews" also errors out in the same way 🙄

Another one to add. Just needed to install the legacy version of "Kontakt" the one that didnt have a number for that version …. 6 I think, for an older project I was trying to open. That also fails in the same way!
