Hi Native instruments Team,

I purchased a used Maschine MK3, but I am unable to contact the previous owner to get a License Transfer ID.
Could a support staff member please contact me or open a ticket so I can send my serial number and proof of purchase to register it to my account?

Please contact N.I. Support and ask them to transfer the device to your account (also include picture of serial on bottom of device as well as purchase receipt.) . Then if whoever the device is presently registered to do not object if/when contacted by NI then NI Support will transfer it to you and you should also receive any base software for the device if any…

Good luck with that. I bought a new Maschina 3 back when it first came out and haven't been able to use it 1 time. Its brand new. NI refuses to activate the software so I can use it. Under no circumstances with they have any contact with a customer. No fax, phone, email, address, nothing. On line help is all you get. If it doesn't resolve your issue, that's it. I went so far as to put all of my personal information and serial number in the comments on a NI youtube video. I did the same right here and instead of trying to help, they deleted my post. So, I know they have all the information they need, and just won't do it. I just found out that NI was bought out by another company. I'm going to give them one more chance. If they still refuse to help me, I'm going nuclear and will post how NI treated me any comments/discussion I can find.

I bought it brand new from and authorized dealer (Guitar Center), the box was unopened, it wasn't used, it's not a demo, not B stock, not a return, not referbished,

On line help is all you get. If it doesn't resolve your issue, that's it.

The web interface helps you make a ticket where NI Support then will then help solve whatever problem per support ticket email back and forth. It is true though that there is no phone support and that you can not initiate support by writing an email address.

You are not allowed to share the information online which is why it was removed.

I did the same right here and instead of trying to help, they deleted my post. So, I know they have all the information they need, and just won't do it.

By NI rules then you are not allowed to post your product serials online which is why the information were removed from the NI forum.

Also then NI most likely did not copy the information from your post before deletion.

If you wish to have any chance of any type of NI Support then please open a ticket using the support bot Riff at : N.I. Support , there is no support other than initiated using the web interface. If what the bot says do not help then ask it to connect you with human support and to open a ticket for you !

Please notice that I am not a NI employee , NI Support and NI Customer Care do not work weekends or holidays and do not work other than standard work hours

This is fully operational. I tried to look in the system for a support request from you with the email address you used for the forum. I couldn't find any support request, maybe you have used a different email address or maybe you stopped interacting with the bot before it got to submitting a request.

If you have a support request number please share it and then we can check where it's at.

No thank you. I've had this thing for over 5 years and I'm done with your online support and excuses. I spent over $700 and haven't been able to use what's been paid for years ago. I use online support, and when it doesn't work you tell me, no problem. Just use online support to fix this type of issue. I use online support and when it doesn't work again, no problem, just use online support to resolve an issue of this nature. And when it doesn't work again.

NI will contact me. You can use my email address. Under no circumstances will I lower myself to using your online system. I gave it over 100 trys over the years. The only reason I'm making this post is, I heard that NI was just bought out and has a new owner. You're getting 1 chance to contact me. I know your system so well, I can prove to everyone right now that I'm telling the truth. Here's my serial number [REMOVED BY MODERATOR]. Now, you'll delete my post because I just put personal info in it. It would be just as easy for you to activate the software, but you'll delete my post instead. It doesn't matter because I always capture everything before its deleted, including your excuses.

I was going to just let the matter go, but then I heard NI was under new ownership. If you don't contact me. Any by contact, just activate my software and send me an email telling me I can now use my $700 paperweight. That't it. Since day 1, that's all you had to do. Otherwise, I have proof of everything that happened over the years, and I'm going to put together a package detailing it all, and post it everywhere that someone can see it. Youtube comments, reddit, here, etc.. Everywhere. I don't know how much business I will cost you, but it will be something. I can tell you that over they years I know for a fact that I stopped at lest 20 people from buying a Maschine. Its probably over 30, but 20 is an absolute fact.

I know the moderators are going to say they can't help because they don't work for NI, and I have to contact online support for help and all the rest of it. I get that, but I really don't care. This is NI's website and its impossible for them to do anything? If that's true, who's deleting my posts? I'll give you guys a few days. If the new owners want to take some responsibility, that would be great. I would never trash the new owners for something the old owners did. But it's completely up to NI. Fix my problem so I can, and will, say good things about you instead of wasting time posting all this crap. And remember, it will cost NI absolutely nothing to activate my account. I'm not asking for much here.

Hey there, we only delete posts when they breach our Code of Conduct. We only deleted the serial numbers here for the safety of your own products. I work for Native Instruments but I don't have access to the tools needed to fix your issue, you will need to get in touch with our support, where they have these necessary tools. We've explained how it works, you only need to submit a request through the link we provided here, then my colleagues get back to you, like for hundreds of customers every week. You can choose any email address to communicate. We test the system regularly and there were no issues reported but if there is anything not working as expected, please report here and let us know what is happening exactly. Thank you.
