Need assistance setting up Maschina 2

Hello,

I recently purchased a second hand Maschina MK3 from guitar center. It. did not come with a license transfer. I have already had Komplete 12 for some time now. I hav tried downlaoding the software for maschina 2 but, it only gives me the demo option. When I click "buy" it takes me to purchase Maschina 3. Can anyone possibly give me some insight of what I may be doing wrong?

As already suggested by PK The DJ then you need to contact N.I. Support and ask them to do the deed (also include picture of serial on bottom of device as well as purchase receipt.) . Then if whoever it is presently registered to do not object if/when contacted by NI then NI Support will transfer it to you and you should also receive any base software for the device if any…

Also please notice that when you contact NI support then you will receive an AI auto-response and it is important that you answer this response to let NI know that you still need their assistance. This is also valid in general , if you have a support ticket with NI then always respond to their emails as long as that you still need help , else the ticket will close.

You're not doing anything wrong. You can't buy Maschine 2 software now, as Maschine 3 is the current version.

If you've never had a Maschine license before, then you'll need to buy the full version of Maschine 3 and not the upgrade.

thanks for the reply. But it says the requirments for maschine 3 is MacOs 13-15. I have MacOS 12. Is that going to be an issue?

If you contact support, you may be able to get the Maschine 2 license transferred. Send them the serial number and receipt.
