Native Access hangs when clicked after a few seconds.

Tried everything - deleting cache folders, uninstalled drivers, even Kontrol/Maschine and Native Access.

I tried everything I could find on forums and net. I could just reinstall windows… But it DID work until recently.

Interestingly if I don't touch/click Native Access it shows my products and everything, and a tiny spinning wheel in the top right beside the "Native Access" Logo/name, then when I click anywhere I can navigate, but it takes ca. 3 seconds until the UI freezes, I can see it in the task manager doing nothing. But it's not frozen, so I can also simply close the window. It's just the UI… I'm so lost :)

Did that include deleting the folder Native Access folder from %AppData%\Native Instruments\ ?

If you have not tried this yet then please

First uninstall Native Access

Then uninstall NTK Daemon

Then delete Native Access folder from %AppData%\Native Instruments\

Then reboot computer (important)

Then download latest version of Native Access for your OS and run installer as an Admin.

Else then what is your exact version of Windows 11 ?

and what is your Antivirus ? Do you have other 'security' related software running ?

I tried all suggestions. Nothing helped. So I opted to completely reinstall windows 11 (pro). Now it freezes whenever I want to enable my s61 mk2 as midi device in komplete kontrol. I assume, this is the reason access got stuck beforehand, however - you can reproduce a freeze in Kontrol.

Ok after installation of windows 11:

I let windows update run, until it shows "uptodate"
reboot.
installed native access with just one instrument and komplete koontrol
no hardware connected yet
started kontrol and switched my s61 ok (latest firmware of course)
go to preferences and select komplete MIDI as input
Boom. Freeze.

I'm tired.

@jaistklaas It's a bit weird that both Native Access and Komplete Kontrol freeze. Let's keep the keyboard disconnected at first. When disconnected do you get freezes in Native Access still?

Then are you able to create a support file or is it impossible because of the freezing? This file would be helpful, please zip the file and attach it in this thread.

Hey!!! Thanks for holding my hand in this :) I just got it working now. After the full reinstall, I forgot to install my chipset drivers! So after that I can now select the midi settings.

I'm actually scared a bit to change any settings, but I think it's working now :) Thank you!
