Hello, I recently received an email from someone claiming to be Kate from Native Instruments, sent from the address "[REMOVED by Moderator]". This worries me greatly, as I supposedly sold my Maschine MK3, which is false. I am currently abroad on business, not at home in France. It's possible I've been the victim of theft, but the content of the email is also troubling. First, the first email mentions a Maschine Mikro, while the second states the opposite. Furthermore, the email contained the exact serial number of my Maschine and asked me to photograph the back panel of my device. With this information, someone in possession of these details could potentially claim ownership of the software associated with my Maschine. I am forwarding you the email in its entirety and my reply (in English). I would be grateful if you could verify whether official support has indeed contacted me. I suspect a software fraud attempt and, if my hardware has indeed been stolen, I wish to file a complaint. Please contact me. If you are unable to resolve the issue, please direct me to the appropriate contact person at Native Instruments.
