Although NI_Support_Tool, NTK Daemon, Native Access are granted Full Disk Access, the installation of Orchestral Essentials 2 with Native Access fails on my MacBookPro M1 running Sequoia 15.6
I have tried 3 times.
It works on my Intel iMac .
It fails also with another instrument like Cuba.
if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network (Ref.: How to grant audio apps access to your local network on macOS 15 Sequoia)
and disks must be of correct format (APFS) : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats
Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)
.
I have already added NI applications to Local Network.
All my disks are APFS.
iCloud Private Relay is already OFF.
Then as a makeshift solution have you checked if you can download from Account downloads and install manually ? , Howto use the NI Download Manager (misleading title)
I have tried it, but the .iso downloaded file can only be installed on the internal system disk. I cannot choose another disk.
I put my NI Content Location file on an external ssd disk.
So I cannot use this work-around.
Are you sure that that is not an user access limitation rather than an installer limitation ? Else try see what is happening if you copy the installer to the root of the external drive and try running it from there.
Ultimately then even if you install it to internal drive then you should be able to move the directory to the external drive folder afterwards and then use the relocate in N.A. if necessary , just be sure to move rather than just copy.

Using the Repair / Relocate All Function in Native Access
I have installed the downloaded .iso file of Orchestral Essentials 2 :
Thank you for your help.
Orchestral Essentials 2 is known by Native Access as an Installed product
If you click the three little dots down right below product in Native Access and then select 'Installation Paths' then it should show where product is installed.
It fails also with another instrument like Cuba
I hope that the Makeshift solution that I suggested will also work for Cuba. If you keep having problems then you ought to have N.I. Support (all) help you diagnose the problem..
You are most welcome , glad to have been able to help find a solution.
It is not normal to use such a Makeshift to avoid a problem in Native Acces.
It is more convenient to use Native Access to download and install N.I products.
It seems that a lot of users encounter this problem.
Thank you very much for your help.

You are absolutely right , but as I suggested earlier then if suggested fix does not work or if the problem continues then you would have to contact N.I. Support (all) and work with them to get the problem fixed .
In case that you need guidance contacting support : How to contact NI Support and How to get in touch with our Customer Care
