I tried to get started again after 2 years, now i got some Issues:
Problem 1:
Specifically, the Traktor Kontrol S3 is recognized by Windows as a device (all LEDs light up, it appears as “USB AUDIO 2.0”), but no ASIO driver is available.
In Traktor Pro 3, only WASAPI/Shared Mode appears under “Audio Device”, but not the expected “Traktor Kontrol S3 (ASIO)” driver.
I have already tried the following:
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver several times (via the official updater from your website)
- Tested S3 on various USB ports (directly on the mainboard, no hub)
- Checked device manager and registry - the ASIO driver is not registered
- ASIO4ALL removed, system cleaned and rebooted several times
The problem: The driver offered on the website is only an updater, but does not contain the complete installation files (incl. INF file) that I would need for manual driver installation.
Problem 2:
I have a valid Traktor Pro 3 license that came with my Kontrol S3.
It used to be active in my NI account, but now no longer shows up in Native Access or on the website.
When I enter the serial number manually, the message appears:
“This serial number has already been used”, even though I only have this one account.
I even have a second license because I updated my Traktor 2 to 3 at that time, none of the licenses for Traktor 3 weird are displayed.
