Hello Friends, I was curious is there a work around so I can map the LEDs, screens and UV meters to work in Ableton? As I intend to use the two Z1 MK2s as a mixer in ableton to emulate the playdifferently model 1.4. Parametric Eq's.

I am aware of midi mode for controller mapping but would love the LEDs, screens and UV meters to work in Ableton too. It's some thing I'd pay for if it was possible as I suspect it is beyond my technical ability.

My only other alternative to use instead of is the Allen and Heath K2 which is ok but I'd like to use the Z1 MK2's allot more

    interesting gear you have!

im not entirely sure.. about the z1 mk2, i own a z1 mk1 which basically requires the Native instruments controller editor, so you can edit the midi types for which the audio LED's respond to

but this would normally require an audio source to be fed into the z1Mk2 via USB whilst in midi mode

if of course you are running Traktor it should in theory be automapped, or you may require to just put the z1mk2 as one of the mapping…

it really depends on where the source audio you wish to push into the z1mk2 is coming from

i can visualise a 8 deck DJ setup with both your polyend… alot of potential for some midi mapping madness, provided the polyend allows for editing of midi types cc/notes etc etc!

im not sure the about the screens? good luck with finding hacks on that one
