If you got Licence Number, you must register/activate it in Native Access SW. And it will show up on your NI user account and download will be available in Native Access.

If you got Licence Transfer Code, you must enter it to Licence Transfer Import at your NI user Account.

It is more common to be provided with Licence Transfer Code than Licence Number on secondhand sales. But I have experience the both, NI sometimes cannot transfer licence and so it deregisters it (removes from user account) to make it usable for a new user.

I am not sure from description what is the actual situation. But generally then what you 'describe' is not how it works. To transfer a product then product owner release product from their own account by setting a transfer ID which they then give to the other person. The other person then use the transfer ID on own account to receive the product.

If this is software that you have bought then I am not sure if N.I. can help.

If this is hardware and you have a hardware serial then contact N.I.Account Support with proof of purchase and a picture of the serial on bottom of device and explain the situation .
