Maschine 3.1 Update - Ableton 12.1 MIDI Remote Script Issue?

I'm trying to use my Maschine MK3 with Ableton Live 12.1 with the new updated MIDI remote scripts, but I can't seem to launch clips using the pads. Only thing I can do is transport control, and mixer controls (Volume, Pan, Solo, Mute all works). The pads don't do anything. Clip colors don't show up (all 16 pads are just white), and no 4x4 clip matrix box around the clips in Ableton.
I've tried copying the NativeInstruments & Maschine Mk3 folders from /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Host Integration/Ableton Live and pasting them in the Ableton User Library "Remote Scripts" folder, and I've tried pasting them in /Applications/Ableton Live 12 Suite.app/Contents/App-Resources/MIDI Remote Scripts.
Neither seem to work properly.. unless my understanding of how the template works is wrong?? The 8 group buttons don't seem to do anything either. Last time I tried to use an Ableton Control script was with Maschine MK2, and the B, E, F, & G group buttons used to act like the arrows on a keyboard to navigate the clips in the session view. No lights on any of them on MK3.

The instructions posted here recently by Jeremy_NI show that the Track boxes for the Maschine input and output ports need to be selected. They're not selected in your photo.
FYI there's a key on your computer that you can press to take images of your screen. There's no need to use your phone camera.

Yes, I'm aware that there's a screenshot button..
Where are these instructions posted? Can you send a link?

As stated, just tick the Track boxes for the Maschine under Input Ports and Output Ports.

That doesn't work. Pads do nothing.

I have a similiar issue going. I have the exact same limited amount of control, the only active buttons are the same ones that are lit on your Maschine.
This was the case for me with the old template found here too. https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413367278097-How-to-Install-Maschine-Templates-for-Ableton-LiveI followed all of the steps that are outlined in the thread below including the midi settings, removing the previous scripts, placing the Maschine remote scripts in the User Library etc. and I still have the exact limited control that Monoloquious is having. I actually thought that this was just how the template at the first link worked, so I was very excited about an update and actually updated to Maschine 3.0 in hopes that there was more control in the template and/or it would be simmilar to the previous MKI and MKII Ableton templates. Can someone verify if the template does indeed have more functionality?

I think these updated scripts are just added compatibility with Live 12.
If it is correct, all functions are only things described as this cheat sheet.
If you want more features, please try my script for MK3.
I unsatisfied with NI's script too, so I developed this.0 -
Hi chiaki I am using your script! 😊 I have been using it for the last 6 weeks or so. It is actually the best that I have found on the internet and I enjoy it a lot. I love that you are making it an open source project and the work is top notch. Seriously, mad respect! I wish that I knew more about coding to contribute. For anyone frustrated with the templates, give Chiaki's a shot, it is legit! It may not be the exact workflow, but it is really cool to see what is possible.
I really liked the old NI scripts for the MKI, but recently moved over to the MK3 because I finally upgraded my mac. I miss the old template quite a bit because I used it for a very long time and it was actually super functional and well thought out. I noticed that it is the same for studio and mk2, so assumed it would be the same for mk3, which is kind of a bummer. I hate to label this as enshitification, but it is a bummer that a long time feature and in my opinion one of the stronger features about maschine is not continued, but I understand that NI supporting their own software is likely a big enough challenge without trying to make it work with another company's. I appreciate that NI has not gone full SAAS and I am willing to put up with some changes here and there as long as this is the case.Chiaki, please keep up the good work! I am excited to see where you take your project!
