@Milu Sorry about that. It seems that now our Maschine scripts are installed a bit differently, the process should be automatic soon. In the meantime, here's the workaround:

    Navigate to:

    Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Host Integration\Ableton Live

    Mac: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Host Integration/Ableton Live

    Copy these 2 folders:

Manually create a folder called “Remote Scripts” within your User Library,
    The default User Library location:
    Windows: \Users\[username]\Documents\Ableton\User Library
    Mac: Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Music/Ableton/User Library

Place the folders into the "Remote Scripts" folder you just created.

    More info here: https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/209072009-Installing-third-party-remote-scripts

Next you put the Maschine Plus in Controller Mode, open Ableton and select the following:

If you have installed other remote scripts for other Maschine controllers as expalined in the article: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413367278097-How-to-Install-Maschine-Templates-for-Ableton-Live

You should remove the _NativeInstruments and the device's folder from

Windows: C: > Program Data > Ableton Live 12 > Resources > MIDI Remote Scripts

    Mac: Macintosh HD > Applications > Ableton Live 12 > Contents > App-Resources > MIDI Remote Scripts.

Tested it and it's working. Please let us know if it works for you.

    I believe on Windows it's

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Host Integration\Ableton Live

Ableton will probably include those scripts in the next Live update, I guess.

@Jeremy_NI First i want to thank you for the quick answer. Second it works fine after this explanation. I am realy excited about the Mixer view on the displays. There are some drawbacks, there are only a few functions I can use in comparison to the MK3 and Jam script, i hope in the near future it was possible to get the same features like in MK3 Script. I can´t understand why is it not possible to quantize 50% and no nudge functions or is there something i´m doing wrong? It would be nice to have a list with an Overview of the features when ther are more added but for the moment it´s great, thank you NI.

Did you have other Maschne controller templates installed before for Ableton? If you have you need to remove/move those files, as mentioned before: You should remove the _NativeInstruments and the device's folder from Macintosh HD > Applications > Ableton Live 12 > Contents > App-Resources > MIDI Remote Scripts.

Possibly there were previous templates, but I'm on Windows 11.

    then it's here: C: > Program Data > Ableton Live 12 > Resources > MIDI Remote Scripts

    I've updated my initial post.

No, there are no existing NativeInstruments or Maschine Plus folders there (the forum is not letting me put underscores in without formatting the post).

These scripts causes severe GUI lag on Windows once you start adding a few plugins/cpu load to a project. I’ve had to remove it as it makes Live unusable.
