"An error occurred while processing your serial"

Well, you guessed it. Just got a Machine mk3 for Christmas and can't even use it do to my serial number. Already read all the threads of people having the same issue so I hope this post can help me solve it quicker. In my Native Access I keep getting a message saying-

"An error occurred while processing your serial"
