Komplete 8 Ultimate Transfer To A New System

Hello,


So basically my issue is this. I was working with a very old setup and I was running Komplete 8 Ultimate with Kontakt 5.8 I believe? Not 100% sure, but anyways it was an old setup that I decided to run into the ground. Well, it finally hit the ground, so my question is this.

I want to transfer all of those Komplete 8 Ultimate samples to a new computer, but I do not have access to any of those samples from the old computer as the hard drive crashed and I am unable to open it at all. I looked on Native Access but it only contained 3rd party instruments I purchased, not the actual Komplete 8 Samples. So where would I get access to these? Basically, what are my options to get those Komplete 8 samples or do I have to upgrade to a new version of Komplete? I hope I worded this question properly and thank you to anyone with any ideas.

    You would have to clarify exactly what you mean by "Komplete 8 samples" as Komplete is not a product.

    It is a bundle license for a wide collection of products. Each needs to be downloaded and managed (here in 2024) by Native Access.

    Komplete 8 ULT however - is from a different era (Sept 2011) and the tools used to download and authorize the products in that version have been long since retired.

    That said - as long as Komplete 8 is properly registered to your NI acct - you "might" be able to download and use the most recent Native Access (v3.16) and then set this control:

    But it may be difficult to fully replicate a Komplete 8 ULT install as it was in Sept 2011 - many products in that bundle do still exist while others have been retired.

    If you cannot get everything via this current version of Native Access - this may be one for NI support to look into - given the time that has elapsed plus the lack of tools to manage the install.
