MASCHINE 2 Plugin in Studio One - 'could not be loaded' error for Instruments

Hello.

In the MASCHINE 2 app, I am able to load instruments, but in the MASCHINE 2 plugin within Studio One, I get the message '** could not be loaded.'

Groups, Sounds, Loops, and One-shots load without any issues.

However, I cannot load FX that seem to be associated with the instruments.

If anyone knows the cause and a solution, I would appreciate your help.

Kontakt 7 and Reaktor 6 are installed.

(Studio One 6, macOS Sonoma 14.5, Apple M1)

@Yue What about when you open Maschine in standalone?

I tried everything—enabling Full Disk Access (Native Access/Maschine/Kontakt/Reaktor/Studio One), running Studio One in Rosetta mode (since I use Apple M1), relocating VST2/3 and Audio Unit files, reinstalling Reaktor, Kontakt, and Maschine via Native Access, deleting the Maschine database and favorites, etc.—but when I switched Studio One back from Rosetta to normal mode, the instruments finally loaded!

Hope this helps someone who is having a similar problem.

If Studio One is complaining it cannot find something - it is certainly missing.

You say FX are missing - are they actually installed where Studio One can find them?

Maschine 2 app is just a plugin host inside Studio One. If the FX are not there - they will error out.

I also can't load Instruments (although I can load it in the MASCHINE 2 app.)

I located the files on my external SSD where both the standalone app and Studio One should be able to find…

When I open MASCHINE in standalone, everything that is installed loads correctly and works as expected.

However, when I open MASCHINE in Studio One, the Instruments and FX cannot be loaded.

I tried the solutions mentioned in the article, but unfortunately, it still doesn't work.

I plan to get another external SSD soon and will reinstall them on it to see if that resolves the issue.

Ok so try the following:

Give full disk access to Studio One and Maschine: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

You should also try to rescan the plugins and libraries in Maschine's preferences when in Studio One.
