How do I get this thing to work?
As much as I want to love the S88 MK3, I have not been able to get this thing to work. The keyboard works fine but I can get any of the daw integration to work with logic or any other host I use with it. It is surprising that I have not been able to search for relevant troubleshooting articles. Am I the only person experiencing issues? NI we are WAY overdue for a firmware update to this keyboard. Here are the problems I am experiencing.
My Setup
MacBook Air M3
Logic Pro 11
Problems
Integration not working at all. the screen seems to be showing the right stuff but the knobs either do nothing or behave erratically. I have followed all of the setup steps to no avail. I was going to really promote this keyboard and unfortunately if these things don't get resolved I'm going to have to sell it. It has been a real disappointment. I hope NI addresses the issues with this keyboard soon.

Where are you at with you support ticket?

No, you're not alone. Many customers of the S series MK3 keyboards are sharing the same issues. Almost a year since they were launched and still no updates just repeated messages that an update to add midi and play assist functionality is currently in beta testing.

@claycollinsmusic If you open Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt 7 in standalone, is everything functional? Can you browse, load, play and control an instrument?
Do Logic, Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt all have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
Can you try to delete this file? Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs
Note: the User Library folder is hidden. To access it, click on Go in the menu bar and press down the Alt key. You'll now find the Library entry in the menu:
Does that fix the issue?
Can you then check if your keyboard is set to MIDI 2.0 or MIDI 1.0? there have been reports of issues when it's set to MIDI 2.0.
Check on the Kontrol Mk3 - Is the keyboard set to MIDI 1.0? If not change it on the keyboard itself in the hardware settings:
- Select MIDI 1.0
- Power the keyboard off
- Go to your mac's Audi & MIDI setup, found in Applications -> Utilities
- Delete the entry for Komplete Kontrol MK3 by clicking the entry and using the delete key on your computer keyboard
Power the keyboard on again.
If none of the above helped, how is your keyboard connected to your Mac?

This seems totally unrelated to the issue of OP.
There was an Apple bug with our keyboards when used in conjunction with our keyboard and Kontakt 7 on Sonoma, this was fixed by Apple in Logic 11.
