Bought Used/Second-Hand :

When one registers a N.I. device then most often one gets some 'base' software added to ones account when/if registering the device. Though there may be exemptions for old hardware (?)

If you have bought the unit second-hand and can not register the serial then please contact N.I. Account Support and ask them for help. Same goes for if you just wants to ask them if they are able to help with the software registration.
