Looks like something went wrong

Hello!
When I did my firmware update for my Komplete MK3, I unfortunately lost the power to the house. The message I have is Looks like something went wrong. Please re-run the update on your computer. But it doesn't work. Can you help me?
Tk's !

Otherwise , you might be looking at getting and trying a self powered USB-C hub with PD (power delivery) and quality cables that support both power and data transfer.
Or alternatively try an USB-C to A port adapter and then also attach an USB-C PSU capable of PD (my personal suggestion is 20W to compensate for any eventual PSU quality issues)

You're probably going to need to open a ticket with NI support for that one. But don't expect a response until after the weekend.

You can try this 'reset by power cycling' advice :
Power cycle the keyboard 5 times. At the 5th time, the recovery screen should appear and you can re-update the controller. In order to power cycle, turn on the device, wait 2-3 seconds and then turn it off again. Please repeat this 5 times.
Some people have had to try this more times to get it to work or to get it right , but if it doesn't work after a few times and the advice on the following page : Kontrol S-Series MK3: Troubleshooting Firmware Update Issues does not help either, then as already pointed out by DunedInDragon, then you will have to contact N.I. Hardware Support !

Hello !!
It did not work. So I went to change my keyboard for a new one. I no longer get the same message, but the update is not done correctly. I did exactly the procedure to update under Windows and I got the message: Your Kontrol S MK3 failed to boot into frimware update ……………. I really do not understand.

Thank you so much !!!!
The solution was a USB-C to A port adapter !!!!

You are most welcome ! And thank you very much for reporting back !
Please notice that the USB-A port is designed to supply less power than the USB-C type port so you might need the USB-C PSU suggested ! (especially when upgrading firmware !)
