S4 MK2 won't work with M1 and Monterey, or in standalone with power supply. Why?
NI indicates that the S4 MK2 is compatible with M1 and Monterey, yet it doesn't connect or even stay lit up, even though I am using USB and a power supply. I took it over to my friends house who is running Windows 10 on his PC and as soon as he plugged it in to worked flawlessly with TRAKTOR PRO... I am feeling little left out here. What do I need to do to resolve this issue? Also, why can't I use it in standalone with my turntables?

S4 MK2 is driverless. i would suspect a hardware issue (and more specifically a cable issue as it works with a pc).

I can only say that the S4 MK2 never had standalone capability.
For compatibility, have you checked this page? : https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014900358-Compatibility-of-Native-Instruments-Products-on-macOS

I did, and Monterey on an M1 MacBook Air lists as totally compatible.0
