Hi, I was asked by Native Access to update. It was at that point I knew I had F'd up. 😉

The update failed, and now I can't run /install clean, any version of Native Access or NTKdaemon.

I have tried pages of options from NI support pages.

Make a change, test, change, test, .etc..

My system and all Native Instruments software were fresh, updated, patched and working pre update.

I'm out of options/ideas...

Any Ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙏 🙂 😊 👍...

Uninstall Native Access only, then install it again trough NI site, but be sure you are logged in with your account.

Don't uninstall other NI products, only Native Access.

Thanks for the response 👍, sad to report, even logged in on the NI site as myself, failed. "Dependency installation process taking longer than normal" ...

I have searched and come up with a bunch of options for that error, not super proud to admit I've tried, I think, each one I've run across trying to get back to where I was 5 days ago...

I'm willing to try anything at this point...

I have attempted all the fix's on the NI pages that are offered for Native access when you type in that error...

I have attempted all the NTKDaemon fix suggestions as well.

So many possible solutions and changes attempted to get back to where I was pre update...

Thanks for the assist, any other ideas? Thanks in advance...

Alas there has been seen persistent problems on Windows 11 for a few users. And you might want to get support to assist you !

That said then with problems of the kind that you report then you would exit Native Access and then try to remove all instances and traces of both Native Access and NTKDaemon from both both drive and Windows registry. Supposedly then you should be able to clean the registry by using the reg tool . But even if it cleans then it doesn't clean the drive for traces.

Best chance of cleaning would be to use the Forced uninstaller function of the Revo Pro uninstaller trial to remove traces of both Native Access and NTKDaemon and then also manually delete traces of both from drive locations such as :

C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\ and C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Native Instruments

C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\ and C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Native Instruments

C:\ProgramData\ and C:\ProgramData\Native Instruments

C:\Program Files\ and C:\Program Files\Native Instruments

C:\Program Files\Common Files\ and C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\NTK

C:\Program Files\Native Instruments , C:\ProgramData\Native Instruments\Installer Log

Then when confident that drive and registry is clean from any trace of Native Access and NTKDaemon then reboot , then double check that there is neither any process nor service present relating to Native Access or NTKDaemon and then try to install latest version of Native Access as an Admin. Some have still failed to get the installation to work but the above is best chance of cleaning while it doesn't help with respect to basic security or access problems on Windows !

Thanks again for the tips, I uninstalled, reg tool'd, ran/bought revo pro for a few years, cleaned all instances/traces. Re-booted, re-checked, re-installed as admin..

P.S.

In the end then I expect the problem to be related Windows security or user administrative rights !
