Mount S4 like Maschine?

Hi all

Is it possible to mount the Traktor S4 (mk3) to a stand using these mounts? -  Video.

The s4 doesn't have universal mounting points like multipads/drumpads so didn't want to start drilling without further investigation.

Is just one mounting poing enough for a big unit like S4? probably not.

I built a plate on which you can mount and dismount the S4 and other controllers. (It is meant to be universal in my case).

If you are going to drill, try going trough the feets for screw threads (like NI did on S8).

I would not drill S4. But you could to glue it to the plate using twoside glue tape or using velcro.

Maybe that the original plate is rather small for S4 as poined out Stevan. Maybe would be safer to attach a bigger metal/wooden desk of size of S4.

It is just a metal frame with a wooden desk that can also be set to different angles. Nothing high tech haha.

Me neither would drill the S4. Unless I had one that's broken to experiment with it. I would rather try to find the solution with the existing screws on the bottom.
