Hi all, since the last update of traktor pro 3, I have a bug on my controller, the screens blink non-stop, and I have no answer to my ticket on NI support.
If anyone can help me please T_T
Hello there
Thank you for your patience.
Unfortunately, this is an ongoing bug that is already being investigated by our team. Here you have the Bug ID for reference:
TP-17931 - Controllers with displays flash when used on Windows devices with AMD GPUS
For the moment the workaround would be to downgrade to 3.8:
We'll change the ticket status to “Solved” as there is not much we can help with for now. Should you want to check on the fixing status, simply respond to the ticket at your earliest convenience referring to the bug ID and it will activate once more for us to review and get back to you.

Just bought an S4 Mk3 and installed Traktor and run into this problem (Windows laptop, AMD graphics). No response from technical support. I don't seem to be able to roll back to 3.8 as I never had it. Considering sending the unit back as this is my first time using NI hardware, not impressed
Download the file linked just above your post.
Going by the updates to the qml files for the s3mk4, I think they are moving from QT 5 to QT 6 and that this might be related.
I found a solution by deleting the traktor 3.9 version of all related folders and cleaned the registry . Installed version 3.5.1 - the screens stopped flickering
I just recently updated as well, but I did not run into this issue. I have a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with an AMD 7 6800H 9-core CPU with integrated AMD graphics BUT it also has an nVidia 3070 which I always have set to stay on.
I didn't do any file cleanups, guess I got lucky. Usually stuff like this is isolated to specific setups.
Hopefully the team can figure this out soon for everyone affected.
I resolved to remove my amd graphics card to use the INTEL gpu integrated into my cpu and the bug disappeared. Hoping for a resolution to put my AMD card back
I'm fairly sure that the latest Windows 11 2H22 update fixed the issue for a lot of people including myself. And good friend of mine with a similar AMD CPU and Windows 11. Gotta love it how Microsoft doesn't let us stop updates anymore. We're only aloud to pause them. Sure seems like lately every time they release a feature update, something else breaks.
Can confirm what most people said, AMD GPUs do not play well with this update, be it integrated or not (from what I've read). Luckily my laptop has an AMD CPU with integrated graphics for low demands, but also an nvidia chip for the slightly heavier workloads.
All I had to do was this:
Tried nearly every setting in the amd equivalent of the nvidia control panel, but nothing seemed to solve the flickering issue. (Did notice a fast near-constant bouncing around from 0 to 100% load on the amd gpu though for some reason, even on the smallest sample rate, no idea if that's normal)
TL;DR: If you have a laptop with a powersaving amd cpu with integrated graphics, but also with a dedicated nvidia gpu, use the nvidia one.
Hi guys, just installed traktor pro 3 vers. 3.10. - flashing screen still in place - what to do? working with version 3.8. instead - but that could not be the solution. Any thought? AMD CPU incl. AMD GFX, Thx guys
Try the new beta of 3.10.1 : https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/17066/3-10-1-beta-1-uploaded/p1 or wait for the public release in a short while. This version solves the problem. :)
Thx, buddy, beta works fine!
