How to connect virtual Midi keyboard to Maschine on MacBook Pro

How would I connect this to be used in Maschine daw? Please help

    Assuming you're talking about this Virtual Keyboard: https://sourceforge.net/projects/vmpk/

    Install it then go to EDIT Menu -> MIDI CONNECTIONS and configure as such:

    Enable the MIDI Ports in Maschine's preferences:

    If you're playing an instrument make sure the PAD/Sound MIDI Input is set to FOCUS and it should work (you can also make all Pad have FOCUS selected by default in Preferences -> Default -> Default MIDI Input Mode)

    If you are triggering one-shot drum (Kits) then select DrumKit Key Mode in the Group MIDI Input:

    There are other ways to configure it but this worked fine for me.
