After you get your questions answered, you might want to give Traktor Mod Switcher a try...

Thanks for the link, although I have no idea what it is (although the screenshots give a hint), nor can I use it due to it being for Mac only.

You'll will need Supreme Edition 3.0 BETA 31.1 installed for all the basic files, then copy the files of the EDIT on top of it, overwriting a lot of the Supreme files.
It doesn't work with 3.8 without adapting a couple of files, with 3.9 not at all. 3.4 to 3.7 have worked for me so far.

It installs mods for you so you don't have to mess with the qml files yourself. Unfortunately it's Mac only indeed...

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. I know it's not your work, but do you know if the original SupremeMod is capable of handling 3.9? Or would that need the same waiting, and changing files if I wanted to use it with 3.8 at least? There is no hint on the Patreon directly, so I'm a bit stumped :) .

Thanks anyway for the hint!

There may be a version out, that does that, if Aleix has figured out a way to do it. The problem would be the same however, for the original or my EDIT.

Well, thanks anyway, didn't expect you to give me the full support circle here :-) . I'll see if I can find an older Traktor version to install, hopefully not breaking anything. Thanks a ton!

If you previously had earlier versions installed on your machine, they are still there, in their own subfolder with the old .exe file, including a qml folder where you can place the mod. You can make a shortcut on your desktop to start the old version.
go to '...\Native Instruments\Traktor Pro 3\Backup\Traktor 'Old Version #)'

I got the pop-up menu running and it's awesome. Just need to iron out some cosmetics and then it's done. Posting an update shortly.

Update: customize waveform on controller screen (D2/S8 only)
Download: DROPBOX
How to set up:
- Load a track. Seek to an interesting location in the wave display and zoom in.
- Open controller settings and set waveform to 'Custom'. (Note: i've changed things around a bit in there)
- Open the FX settings. Select bottom controls (Performance Button 1). Select 'C.Waveform'. Exit.
How to use:
- Performance Buttons 2, 3 and 4 lets you select Low, Mid or High waveform segments.
- Performance Button 1 toggles between the main segment and the secondary (attack) segment.
- Performance Knobs 1-4 adjust Red, Green, Blue and Alpha values (0-255) of the selected segment.
Visual feedback (apart from the changing custom waveform itself) is provided by a new pop-up display. Visibility of this display is bound to the visibility to all bottom pop-up displays (bottom FX, stem/remix controls and other performance modes).
Values are saved in the same file as all the other mapping values when you export the controller mapping as a file.
Feedback is appreciated. Enjoy. 🦋

I never downloaded beta 31 while I was subbed to the Supreme Mod Patreon. I stopped subbing when there was no updates after April.
I'm wondering if the EDIT will make it compatible with Traktor 3.9. Anyone tested? And, anyone willing to pass on the old beta 31 to me?

It doesn't work on 3.9 so far. When NI has come around fixing the graphics bugs i will try making the EDIT work with hopefully 3.10.

Do any of the changes in this edit help the issues with controlling stem track volume/ filter on the s4mk3?
I've had a browse through SupremeModEdit.qml & attempted an edit myself in S4MK3LoopMoveEncoder / S4MK3LoopMoveEncoder & no luck
