FFT Phase Vocoder crackling

haha simple yet effective demonstration. i would assume that using basically a rectangular window at 4x overlap would present its own set inverse set of troubles.. but in practice it works surprisingly well for partial tracking, seemingly making the tracking less likely to 'jump around', almost like it is adding some redundancy?? not quite sure how to think about that

Regarding the merge that was removed, it looks like an initialization thing. I believe it's a set 0 on startup. So if you have clicks or problems during initialization you may need to put it back.

Cool, working with events is tough sometimes. Everything can work fine then that one event doesn't take and all hell breaks loose. I had a problem that was so erratic I said screw it and used an audio input instead of an event input. For some reason the event input only worked 95 percent of the time. Maybe the computer gets an interrupt request or something.

No kidding, things can get out of sync if your not careful. Have you ever tried passing a clock into a main macro from a core cell, I haven't but it may give you trouble.
