Maschine MK3 keeps disconnecting randomly from the software?

I'm hoping someone can help me here. After about 10 minutes, mid playing, the hardware completely disconnects from the software, all the lights and screens go off, and no input is received. It's still on, I can put it into MIDI mode, but to reconnect I have to shut everything down and restart. The program is updated. All the drivers are updated. The MK3 in the drop down menu is highlighted, but there is no check mark next to it and I can't select it. In preferences under hardware it is blank with no option to select anything. But under the MIDI tab, MK3 is still selected. WTH is going on!? Makes it very difficult to make any progress only being able to use the thing in ten minute increments. I've been scouring for answers all night. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello,

have you checked cables tried another usb port, another cable, maybe remove a usb hub if you use one. What system do you use?

It does it with 2 different cables. Including the one I use with my Traktor Kontrol S4, which never had any problems. I'm using a brand new Dell XPS, Windows 11, Intel i9, 32 gb RAM. No hub. One cable is going straight into the back. Another straight into the front. I'm suspecting its having something to do with the controller editor, but I cant imagine what. One thing I did do recently was install Melodics and installed the MIDI map for Melodics in the editor. Why this would all of a sudden cause it to disconnect from Maschine 2 I cant imagine. Right? Its not like a map all of a sudden stops working. It either works or it doesn't. It doesn't come and go as it pleases. Its almost like the hardware is going into a kind of sleep mode, but right in the middle of using it. I might try to delete Melodics. See if that brings it back to normal working order.

Do you know if I have to leave the editor on in the background when Im playing. I even just reinstalled the editor thru Native. I reloaded the original, main template for the MK3. And still, as if on cue, at about 10 minutes ( I should time it, it does seem to be the exact same time everytime) all the lights go out on the hardware. The only way to reconnect it is to shut the hardware and software down and restart. Then it lets me go for another 10 minutes. Very frustrating.

normally you can keep the editor open, do you open editor as admin?

I haven't been, no. Just regular Open. Maybe I will try that.

@Sixstringz Also make sure to run Maschine as admin: How to Run a Program as an Administrator

If you have an antivirus active, try deactivate it while you are using the Maschine software, see if that helps. Also if you have something like CCleaner or similar apps, uninstall it as it can cause issues: Notes on Using Registry or Property List Cleaning Utilities

Maybe also check your power options on your USB ports. If you have the chance to try a powered usb hub, see if that helps as well.

Actually have McAfee and CCleaner. I have it straight into my highest rated USB port on my pc. No hub. Tho since I've been running it with the controller editor on in the background I haven't had any problems. If the editor is off the problem is there, but with the editor on I'm good. Which is fine. It's a simple thing to have the editor running.

Well, if you found a way that works for you. You shouldn't need to have Controller Editor open, if you want to fix it at some point, you'll know where to start.
