3.7.1 Not saving playlist content
I just upgraded to 3.7.1 from 3.5.3 and the latest version of Traktor will not load or save my playlist content. The playlist folders are there but they're empty. I can import the collection for 3.5.3 and it'll load and I can play just fine, but it won't save them. Even if I manually save the collection, every time I open up Traktor the playlists are empty again. I just reverted to using 3.5.3 as it just works just fine. I'm on a 2015 MacBook Pro running Big Sur. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Benzer81 Thanks for pointing this out. I'll keep an eye on the outcome of the ticket and get back to you.
In the meantime, you can roll back to 3.5.3 (if you haven't already done so):

Im having the same problem on windows 10. Can I revert back to an earlier version if I don't have it backed up?

I just now had this issue... with Pro Plus...
I had this problem with the Beta... but now it's happening with 3.8...
It's a real drag.... it's the one thing that simply cannot happen...
Playlists are everything when it comes to Traktor...
I'm so glad I didn't have a show tonight or I would be F@#$ed!

You can revert to any Traktor update that you previously used on the computer. If you wish to use a version which you have not used before, just let me know and I'll prepare a d/l link for you.

Ouch, i am very sorry to hear that! Can you specify your computer model and operating system please, and also describe the error in more detail please? It would be good to know whether
• all of your Track Collection content was affected or only parts
• all content was gone or only the last edits you made
• the error occurred right away when using 3.8.0 for the first time.
THX in advance!

Hi there...
not...I'd been using 3.8 for about a month...
Mac Pro 11.5.6
It looked like it did when I first opened up the Beta...Anything on an external HD was not in the Playlists.
I think maybe it picked up an old .nml file somehow...
Is is prudent to delete some of the .nml files older than 1 week so as not to create confusion for the system...?
Thanks !

Aye, THX for the feedback!
Could you please share the name of the external drive?
- In regards to removing NML files: I presume you are referring to those time-stamped backups? If so, there is no possibility for confusion because these collection backups remain entirely inactive until you specifically touch them.

Interesting....thanks for the timely feedback and always professional caring support....
Love Traktor and am really appreciating the Pattern Player now too...!
Hope to be able to add some delay or effects to the Pattern Player in upcoming updates!?

I just tried upgrading to 3.8.0 and I'm still having the issue of empty playlists. All the individual tracks are in my Track Collection, just not in their respective playlists. Back to using 3.5.3...
