Does something like Volca drum or hammerhead rhythm station exist in reaktor?
Hello.
Im building my own itb groovebox and i am looking for a simple multi purpose drum/perc module. that i can multiply.
I've looked at the niji drums and they are cool. but i would like to have something a bit more like the volca drum or the hammerhead app in which a single module can create various types of perc/drum sounds.
Does such a module exist in reaktor?
Thank you very much for your help.

Sounds like an ideal first project!
Some factory oscillators, factory envelopes for amplitude and pitch, a noise source, maybe some FM, wave folding etc. should be fun and easy enough to throw together, just lots of time tuning and tinkering to get it how you want it...
Also an opportunity to do some research on how some of these things work... you could rip some of the code out of the niji drums to build a mutant that has elements from them all with a few extra controls?

Im def gonna try all of your suggestions.
I was just hoping to find something simple already made so as to not to have to devote a lot of time to this particular area of my groovebox.
Thank you all.

One thing to consider is multiple oscillators, maybe with phase modulation or frequency modulation. Don't necessarily need to worry about aliasing either for percussive sounds. It sometimes even improves things!. So low cpu 'naive' oscillators can work just fine - and are relatively easy to scratch build!

I made a microtonic clone a few years ago , with extra features .
Also a module to play chromatically
Korg volca drum has almost the exact same features as microtonic

@gentleclockdivider you've forgotten the dark one of your drum monsters
and here the seq Dieter Zobel use with polyplex (6 tracks) - can it work with Clonetonic?

Sure why not , I sequence it from my cirklon and Loomer architect
Clone toonic takes pitch inputs from C3 to F3 (including flats-sharps ) , but you can assign whateer note you want , just change it in the structure .

Dieter's seq works really fine after my testing last night.

There is a nice Groovebox made from niji mods here: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/13163/

Yes. the niji racks by this guy are amazing.
But i was looking for something more of a "one tool to create all types of sound" kinda thing... like microtonic.
Thank you.
