Beware of purchasing 3rd party plugins!!!!!!

I purchased Archetype from NI when a sale was going on. I did not save the download file, and when I had to format my computer, I lost access because the company no longer exists. I thought that when purchasing something from NI, I would be able to download it through Native Access, but only a few third-party plugins allow that. NI should specify whether a plugin can be downloaded through their hub. When I contacted Native Instruments about getting the download for Archetype, they said I would have to download it from the company's site, and if their site is no longer there, you're just f**ked. This is a warning for anyone buying third-party plugins from NI.

@Derek N We would appreciate that you don't use this kind of language, even with little stars to make it look ok. It's pretty clearly stated in our Code of Conduct.

Regarding the issue. Yes, this was a third party library that was part of an offer. The downloads were not handled by Native Access back then, it was the very beginning of Native Access and only NI products and very few third party were. Things are a little different now. Lots of NKS products are now completely handled by Native Access.

Unfortunately, this third party company ceased to exist so now you can't find installers. We can't be held responsible for that. It was a third party product, part of a bundle, not a NI product.

I see that you contacted us back in 2023 about it and back then we didn't have access to the files. After some little internal research, it seems someone uploaded the files in 2024. I will send you a link to the zipped library by direct message.
