Is there a way to use a transfer code for Komplete Select that is hardware locked?

Is there any way to remove the hardware lock for a second hand license for Komplete Select Electronic?

I purchased a second hand license for Komplete Select Beats and Electronic and received the transfer codes, however it appears one transfer code is hardware locked. It states the following: Komplete 15 Select Electronic for Akai. Whereas I have a Novation MK4 Midi Keyboard.

When entering the transfer code, I keep receiving the following error:

Es ist kein qualifizierendes Basisprodukt für dieses Update/Upgrade in Ihrem Benutzerkonto registriert.

No qualifying base product for this update/upgrade is registered in your user account.

Does this mean I won't be able to use this transfer code as it's hardware locked? Or is there a way to remove the hardware lock at all? If it can't be done, I guess I'll have to request a refund from the seller…

@BeyondAntares The Komplete Select bundles do not have such a limitation, I spoke with my colleagues and it would seem it's about another product. They will get back to you very soon to explain.
