At some point will we get real time time stretching?

not even sure why I’m even asking? I mean live been using it since v1.xx Been faithful through the v3 software rewrite that was supposedly done so they could bring that feature. It has been the #1 request and probably the biggest reason users jump ship to other platforms yet here we are headed into 2026 and still have to use Serato as a workaround for an antiquated feature. There’s a million reverbs available online. One new one every week on the internet yet we still don’t have time stretching and not that load this way, copy this, turn the knob thing we have. NATIVE CAN YOU PLEASE ADD A DECENT TIMESTRETCHING ALGORITHM

Where did you read that "V3 was done so they could bring better time-strech" ?? I have never seen that said anywhere by any NI official or reputable source.

in my frustrated state I typed v3… I meant v2! That rewrite was crazy and brought a lot to maschine at the time.

I think he meant real time stretch was a very popular request in 1.x. They gave us the loop only stretch in the audio module for 2.x instead of adding it to the sampler. This was totally not what folks were asking for. This request has lost steam due to most of the folks requesting it (those who like to chop samples and keep them in sync) have moved on to MPC or Push.
