After update output volume in Traktor is not lit - how do I enable ?

After spending two frikkin' hours reloading all my settings and playlists after an update I NEVER WANTED and losing a set I'd been preparing… (GGGGGRRRRRR!!!!!)…

3.1.11 - Main volume dial is not lit so can't lower my output volume.

How do I enable the Main volume dial ?

After shutting down and restarting knob had become active.

I have NEVER consented to updates. They happen automatically (usually the day before I have a gig).

I would love to turn auto updates off !

Can you show us?

Post a screenshot of the GUI and of the first pages of preferences (audio settings). What devices are connected?

Why did you install an update you never wanted?

All your previous versions are stored in the subfolder called 'Backup' (*program files*\Native Instruments\Traktor Pro 3\Backup\; not the documents folder). If you start the contained 'Traktor.exe', you will start that version.

Find someone MAC-savvy or crawl the internet and do it. There should be lots of tutorials out there to help you customize your system.

I haven't had a Traktor installation that was update happy. The most i get is the info there is an update available, but only if i start native access to actually check. Is macOS any different?

Yup. I just turn it on and bam… new Traktor and all my settings are gone.

Did you try the backups? All your settings and the previously used collection have their own space.
