Installation of Native Access 2

Hi I'm trying to install native access 2. I haven't used the software in quite some time and wanted to get back into it. Now I tried to open native access and it just said it failed to download the last update. So i tried to install the new native access and it said that the uninstallation of the old native access failed and to try manually. So i did again and again up to the point at which I just uninstalled everything from native instruments on my PC. I asked chatgpt to help and followed all the instructions to clear the registry ect. still I just get the same error message saying native access2 failed to uninstall the previous version. Can anyone help me, please? Im lost at this point. Thank you in advance :)

Uninstall N.A. and NTKDaemon if still there

Then run the N.I. reg tool to remove any left overs in registry from both Native Access and NTKdaemon

then reboot

Then download the Native Access 1

then unzip the file

and then run the installer as an Admin

Then reboot

Then uninstall N.A. 1 and NTKDaemon

Then run the N.I. reg tool to remove any left overs in registry from both Native Access and NTKdaemon

Then Reboot

Then download latest version of Native Access for your OS and run installer as an Admin.

If that doesn't work then try running the installer in safe mode.

If the problem persists then please contact N.I.Native Access and Installation Support .

NA 2 is not an upgrade to NA 1

You need to download a standalone copy of Native Access from here:

Native Access 2

Then UNINSTALL v1.

Then install the Native Access you just downloaded (should end up being v3.17).

Login with your NI acct credentials and you should be able to get going.

BIG warning for Kontakt 6: If you ever used K5/6 in any old projects - do NOT allow NA (v3.17) to update any Kontakt libraries if you intend to stay on K6 OR load any old projects.

All Kontakt libraries system wide - were updated back in Sept 2023 to require Kontakt 7.6.1 (or higher). If you are not paying attention and click Update All - Native Access will update everything and then if you attempt to open any old projects that used K6 - you will instantly get an error telling you your Kontakt version is too old.

Only consider these updates if you now have access to Kontakt 7.61 (Or higher) and have no intention on using any older version of Kontakt - ever again.
