As a result of shelling out $1400 i would much prefer to get reliable product with clear roadmap instead of diving deep into understanding of Mergers & Acquisitions details + getting maybe-once-per-year update which usually brings similar amount of new bugs as it fixes old ones. Moreover, visibility of the plans does not guarantee they will not be changed at the last moment and the release will (or maybe will even not) take place 6 months later. So 3 years into owning M+ no more optimism left, only 'gloom and doom'. And i suppose new community members, judging by current state of affairs, will not be able to avoid similar fate.

the thing that unites all of us is one common denominator, we all want our M+ to be optimized, updated, taken care of, prioritized and so on… bury the bull droppings now and let’s keep complaining about the lack of attention instead. Kumbayaaaaa

Let’s face it. Maschine + is not flagship. There is no flagship in current Maschine products line. Only Studio was flagship (I still love the JOG).

Maschine+ is just expensive. Nothing more.

My point still stands. Regardless of the reasons why (and I'm not sure how you can be so sure of the reasons), it's still better that they take the time they need to get it right.

Yes, but, I hear same for all other products/companies as well. I mean, I would like to be developed better. But the fact that the standalone experience exists is much more valuable to me. Do I want another Maschine+? Yes. Will I buy it? No, I’ll wait many years before to see how it develops. But I’m happy with current generation as I already invested.

The last update we provided mentioned that Maschine+ firmware update, inclusive of support for Maschine 3 software, is coming soon.

This is still the case, and it's still being worked on.

Maschine+ is still the flagship in the Maschine lineup.. you just need to use it with a computer!

On a more serious note, I hope @Chris_NI can give us some good news soon. At this point I'm thinking M+ will get to v 3.1 right off the bat, since I hear that is in beta right now on the desktop side..?

I wouldn't mind so much if Maschine software and Maschine+ will be able to use Akai and Air expansions, or is it just a one way street?

They need more employees/a larger budget for payroll. If they truly are committed to Maschine, they need a dedicated team instead of just an amorphous group of people that they can shuffle around from project to project. Announcing this partnership before Maschine+ even gets version parity with the final release of Maschine 2.0 is a massive, MASSIVE misstep. It is a move that very plainly and clearly tells NI's current customers that they do not matter and that their satisfaction is the company's last priority. (whether or not the team meant it that way, that is how it comes off.)

What about the new firmware update for Maschine + ???
