Why this deal is so poor? 2024 Black Friday price for updating from version 14 to version 15 costs 499.00 €. I don't think that's a very fair offer. Why does the update have this kind of pricing, which is practically far from the promised 50 % discount?

It has always been the norm for NI to offer little or no discount for major version updates on Komplete software bundles in the year it is released—one has to wait patiently until the next Summer of Sound sale in the following year for the 50% (usually) discount on the updates.

Yeah, this is partly understandable, but when you calculate the amount that has gone into updating the software bundle in the long term, it would be desirable to reward the loyal user with slightly cheaper update options. Well, you'll just have to wait for those fairer discounts…

You can , the price depends on when you buy , that is if it is discounted or not.

Because Updates and Upgrades are not discounted at the moment , N.I. only discounted the the whole bundles at the moment , for a lower price wait for discounts on a later sale (or later in this sale) .
