Since we are on ideas. Think Yamaha PSR keyboards with those cheesy accompaniment then avail a variant of it - this time with modern sounds like EDM, House etc. User to choose genre type and generate some phrases and beats.

Roland already has something that responds to the user input with Jupiter-XM (I-Arpeggio). Take a look. Better still if we can control them Stem-style meaning we can use the intelligently generated drum, bass, fx separately and inside scenes.

We can do that w/ the Audio Module & Clips in the arranger, although I've never tried it, myself.

    Long time user ….

Would like to be able to export separate midi note lanes (piano roll) . I finger drum my beats / breaks often using session drummer and nks .

Would there be away if exporting individual lanes for mixing in logic ?

Also can we have an Expansion player or Mini Maschine app that can be controlled by MK3 maschine ? Again in Logic .

I know battery can do this but direct control from Maschine would be great.

The only thing I'd like is the sampler to be at level or better than Serato Sampler and logic's sampler.

basically key detection (original key of the sample and the new key when you pitch it)

time stretch synced with the tempo of the project

and like the follow tempo like in logic sampler, so we can play chords with one shots.

What I really would like to see in a future update is better use for the controller screens. Both the two-screen controllers and the new Kontrol S big screen use that beautifull screen to show a giant plugin name and a list of rotary controls at the bottom. Please use that screen for EQ curves, Compressor Gain Reduction readout, Polysynth envelope curves etc …. Don't let that tremendous screen go to waste! Every brand with big screens on hardware (Roland, Akai, Yamaha) isn't wasting the valuable pixels like that.

One second hope, though I understand Maschine will never become a DAW, is a more fluent workflow for recording instrument tracks (Audio). With possibilities to quickly repair a few bars in a take, punch in/out, record arm a pad and record on it directly etc …

The way I use Maschine is a combination of electronic music with added vocals and guitars. Beïng able to do that in the Plus would make my dawless dream come true.

Yes it's possible. But in a very workflow unfriendly way. For instance when you make a mistake while playing you have to rerecord the whole song again, no way to punch in/out or start recordings at a specific point (unless I'm missing something).

i dont know if this already has been fixed on the 3.0 update, but on maschine+ it is currently only possible to have a 2 folder "deep" structure for user content.

so if this hasnt been adressed by now, there should be the possibility to have more than 2 folders for your own samples.

Remember the Raven? Quasimidi, another German company, already failed with that idea in the 90s. IMO, the problem with such technology is to define a target audience.

    AU/VST Midi out (intern)

Midi Output for VST/AU Midigenerator/Sequenzer like nearly every DAW on the market have it.
