Why doesn't Maschine 3 support retina/hi-dpi on mac!!?

I was hoping to get note highlighting and pinch to zoom in the midi player. The midi player is the only reason i need another daw :( (and of course decent automation would have been nice). At least now I can mute notes.

If you have a big problem with $29.00 maybe music production isn't the right hobby for you? Again, this is how every company does it. How else do they fund new updates?

Not making the ability to use as a plugin inbound daw and route with easy is a hugh miss for me..

So far none of the youtubers talk about all the new stuff but Loopop has one of the best, as usual:

And to think they had 10 plus years to get it right .. now we have to wait for 3.0.1 😆 to get slow pace additions

Looks like there are trying to fully integrate mk3 with maschine 3 software for the future..

No mention of the huge profit they make on every other product they sell though. And don't tell me this is not the hobby for me. It's not a hobby my friend, it's my living. As it turns out Maschine 3 has proven to many that NI don't really know where to go with it. Certainly nothing new that would want me to pay any amount of money to upgrade. My decision to jump ship and invest in another platform was a wise move.

I for one would much rather an audio software company focus on their products sounding great.

At the end of the day, is anyone listening to your music going to care what visual resolution you produced it in?

If I'm giving orders at the company, I'd probably prioritize how our audio products sound and would pursue avenues that utilize resources along those lines first. Seems reasonable, no?

Wait… you jumped ship and invested in another platform. Do you sing their praises in the forums over there?

    First thoughts:

-No poly aftertouch. The tag has been there for ages though. Dirty marketing trick?

    -No chance/probability.

-No automation updates, lfo's or lock state updates.

-No integration with new bells and whistles of Kontakt 8 (Chords, Phrases and Leap). You can’t even drop midi chords from Chords to Maschine 3.

-KKS49Mk1 is out of the game. I feel like this is a real bummer. So if I want to keep using it I have to use Maschine 2 and also not to update Komplete Kontrol…or host old version of KK in a DAW. I hope this revisited. I know it is EOL, still, right now I have more use for the controller using any DAW than the Maschine 3. Maschine 3 robs me a way of using those fancy light guides.

+Bounce is nice thing. I can't really comment on stem separation, I have no experience using it, but since it is there it might open some new workflows.

+More external outs is nice thing.

+Hearing audio on piano roll. It was about time.

+The price wasn't that bad — then again the update wasn't that good either.

+Bpm per scene is nice. I didn’t ask it but I’m pleasantly suprised by it.

-Overall I feel like NI is not really catching up the competitors with this one. Not even catching up with Kontakt 8… There were a ton of research done before the update, kind of suggesting that a lot of more new features would be added.

+There is plenty of room for improvement. And now that people have paid for the software there should be more pressure to make them happen.
