November to Remember!

With the track record of NI, 3.0 will drop at exactly 11:59pm on Nov. 30th. But in all seriousness, I am very eager to see what will be included in the long awaited update.

I’m with you on this! Really waiting to see if I will be surprised or not. I’ve got M+. So looking forward to see the list features in update (interested only in stabdalone) and new sampled sounds (the set of 100 or so rumored) which will also be another paid update to update I believe.
Waiting for it… let’s how meaningful it’ll be for me. At the end of the day all this update depends to subjective requirements/expectations of each of us

That might be the case but those updates were either bug fixes or compatibility updates. Nothing of significance regarding feature updates have been forthcoming in many years. Some of those updates were actually to fix new bugs introduced by the previous update!

I agree I thought that was mentioned somewhere by one of the mods..

I wonder how many Youtubers already have 3.0 and are just waiting on Native Instruments to give them the go, so they can release their Maschine 3.0 videos?

All of them that's reason they are beta testers.. need free promo good or bad..

M+ will not be getting 3.0 until much later, I doubt it will come this month, might not even arrive this year.. November will see Maschine 3 desktop release only, is my guess. I would love to be wrong though!

or the M+ just simply is too weak to run it properly and if you buy it you’d end up regretting it? Or hopefully the structure is optimized somehow and M3 runs even better than M2 on the M+? Is that possible?

My comment was meant as sarcastic answer those who claim there haven’t been any Maschine updates for a long time. The sarcasm got lost, obviously, unfortunately.
Talking about unfortunate: It’s a bit sad that the aforementioned page wasn’t updated anymore after 2.15. In fact, it’s pretty difficult to find any kind of release notes for Maschine on the internet. It would help to bust myths and get a better understanding about Maschine history.

They're all in Native Access 2 now

That's OK for those of us who have NA installed already, but for newcomers who are considering investing in Maschine (so don't have NA installed), they can no longer see at a glance the update progress like before.

So will the 3.0 software be available on its own?

@Matthew_NI my 5 cents, sometimes I am just swiping over release notes of the products i don’t in order to check if there is a reason i need to but them. For instance, release notes from Ableton Live are always detailed and nuanced. Even for somebody who don’t own it, at some point in time them can make a decision to buy. It would be very useful to have something similar for maschine. For instance, the old way on the NI web site was also great if you keep up sharing the notes there. For those who don’t own Maschine of don’t have anything from NI it could be a good way to keep an eye on what’s up in every new release with option to see history of updates.
disclaimer: i’m not comparing companies or products, just a point of view.
