Hi guys,

I´m about to switch to Mac. All my libraries are on a 4 TB SSD but formated for PC.

Is it apropriate to install everything new on my Mac?

Well, you have to, if you plan to use the SSD on Mac.

@henrym It's definitely not, on a Mac you need to format your disk to APFS, as explained in this article: Notes on Hard Drive Formats on Mac Computers

    Thanks, guys!

I have a 2 TB SSD in spare. Need a docking station first.

Then I will format this to APFS and then re-download bit by bit. Tons of work and time to spend…😆

    ok, guys,

everything worked fine but it took me several days to download all my NI stuff.

2 issues occured nonetheless: Omnia choir, with 72 Gb, didn´t download properly, even a download over night still said 1.5 hours more to go. So I quit the d´load.

The second problem: Komplete Kontrol as stand-alone works correctly but when I create an instrument track for KK in Cubase 13pro it does not find the files and asked for a rescan, which I did several times with no success.

    Any ideas?

The download problem part can be for more reasons including N.I. server problems (to test that you can try using a VPN) but if using Mac the also be sure to have Private Relay switched off.

With respect to the DAW problem then @Jeremy_NI knows more than I and he is also the one that can furnish you with an up-to-date download link for Omnia choir if your download problem persists .

Hi @PoorFellow , Thanks for the answer. I´ll try the suggested asap.

The Komplete Kontrol problem was gone the next day. Maybe also on a Mac a reboot/restart can solve problems.☺️

Hi @PoorFellow , I just checked. My Private Relay was switched off, so that should not be the problem.

I also wonder why it´s only the big Omnia choir that won't d´load. All other 246 NI apps loaded down easily

It can be a N.I. server problem (as I wrote above then you can test that by using a VPN) that has been seen in between but in rare cases it has also been seen to be for other reasons. If @Jeremy_NI , does not come around and furnish you with a link for a download of the Omnia Kontakt library then please contact N.I.Native Access and Installation Support

At the page N.I.Native Access and Installation Support be sure to scroll down to page bottom to see if there is a log-in request , if there is then log-in, then at next page again scroll down and small blue chat box ought occur within 15 seconds. Then write in chat box and when getting suggestions then select did not help when it didn't, that ought to bring you on to either chat with human or open a ticket. (You need to use a browser with Cookie , Security and Extensions settings that will allow for log-in on the page for the page to work)

There has been introduced chat support for Native Access assistance (at least daytime on normal work days) :

Quote : For assistance with purchases, accounts, and Native Access, you'll have an option to initiate a chat session. Simply click on the chat icon located at the bottom right corner, and you'll be assisted by a virtual assistant. If your issue remains unresolved after consulting our help articles, a human chat agent will be available to assist you.
