Separated hot cues and saved loops. Can change color of hot cue and loop.

Can add menu loops and when save a loop, loop be separated from hot cue to have 8 hot cue and 8 loops.

    In my opinion, what makes Traktor so unique is this feature that combines hot cues and loops simultaneously. I tried other DJ software that separates them and only adds one layer of complexity.

    Of course, having separate layouts would increase to 8 hot cues and 8 loops. Maybe this could be implemented with a Shift button combination?

    Yes add function to separate is the best way. To have a choice everyone personalized.

    You can set a Cue and a Loop starting in the same spot.

    Select your Cue (make sure the loop is OFF), press "MAP" then press the Loop point.

    The original Loop is stored and now you have only the CUE saved.

    You can play the cue as normal but if you need the loop you can press "ACTIVATE"

    Just be aware that under circumstances i was so far unable to pinpoint, any unnumbered hotcue or hotloop (as you just described) may retroactively be assigned the first free number, if less than eight numbered and stored cues have been assigned to the track. This can happen next time you load the track or at a later loading instance. Sometimes.
