Maschine 2.15 is out!

I don't think it's unreasonable for NI/forum mods to try to keep people on topic in a forum thread - especially one started by NI about a specific topic (2.15) - I'm guilty of veering off as well 😂

That’s awesome! Treat yourself!

You may be an uhappy camper, but as you can see, there are many that aren't and that is their right. It is not arguably helpful or polite to constantly have a negative attitude and complain about the same things in various threads, so you may deludedly bask in your own sense of cough 'superiority'. So far, you have been one of the persons to deliberately be rude and antagonistic about other forum members. Perhaps you too might consider that.

I actually neither have a negative attitude, nor a sense of superiority, quite the opposite actually, though I can write my own comments and have no desire to turn this into a bickering session.
Both aggrieved and non aggrieved have the same rights and can you please show me where I have been rude and antagonistic.....

Thanks a lot Kaiwan for contributing to the discussion. An info like this we needed since some time already. Cheers

Awesomeness!

Thank you, this thread is so long and it seems most of the negative posts, while paragraphs long, don’t actually say what the issues with 2.15 are.
THX for update, looking forward to autosampler and some stability improvements on my gnarly M+!

The preview text about this update said they'd added 'Chord Inversions' to the Chord mode...but I don't see anything new going on there. Did this actually get added? Where?

Allegedly coming with the hot fix in theory....................

I love maschine and am grateful for the update. However, I also love ez drummer 3 and since that is a vst3-plugin and maschine does not support 3rd party vst3, I cannot use either of these two favorites the way I would love to: together, that is! Any expectations on when Maschine will be fully vst3 compatible?

Understandable! I've made sort of templates for EZ2 once. Max. complexity: Ableton Live run the Maschine VST and inside that Maschine the EZ2 VST2 was running. That was the 'guarantee' to stop any creative workflow because most of time I fiddled around with integration and HW/SW interfacing topics.
It's not a shame to seperate these tools, benefit from their different strength and import MIDI or WAV files if needed.

They removed the chord inversions from 2.15 due to a compatibility issue with M+. Once NI gets the M+ update they will release a machine 2 patch which will have the inversions. We are just waiting on the M+ update

Just one more example of how there has emerged a conceptual "flaw" in this ecosystem with regards to practical development.

I wouldn't call it a flaw. It's more of a tradeoff. The compatibility issues come from allowing the Maschine projects to be created on Maschine 2 and then opened and finished in M+ /vice versa. In order for this to work you essentially need both systems to be virtually the same. They could have not given us this option and then we wouldn't have compatibility issues. Yet it would have been counterproductive for the consumer/community. I honestly think they should have just waited to release m2.15 until they could have released both. It's a learning experience for NI. Let's not be soooo critical they are people/human too (I hope 😂) we all make mistakes hopefully we learn from them and do better next time
