So, the functioning beta of M+ firmware update was already available around 15 March.
I understand they have discovered some issues but 7 weeks already passed and still nothing is officially released. Seriously NI? I am not a programmer but I believe this amount of time is even enough for a person to learn programming and make the firmware work ;)
Delays like this would be understandable for indie developers who also have to struggle with daily life but NI is a moloch company with dozens of employees. Sorry but there is no excuse for you!

Yes it was known and expected that 1.4 will be released on March 15th.
Do you think it's been 7 weeks since NI doesn't care and they're at the beach with cocktails in their hands?
I especially think that they want to avoid releasing a 1.4 which would still have a bug that they would not have detected and we would all be disappointed.
Let them work, personally I compose on M+ in standalone without any real problem. Just that I can't wait, now that I know, to have the autosampler, maybe NI just shouldn't have announced it so soon, there wouldn't be all these discussions, sometimes too aggressive.

That's what I wanted to say above on this subject, it's not normal that it's not indicated that we already have this or that extension, it would avoid errors and this kind of situation.

It is especially that the 2.15 update is not compatible with Maschine plus, because its 1.14 update has been delayed, so if you use an M+ you should not update Maschine 2 to 2.15

Delays are understandable but since 7 weeks there are no comments from NI regarding the reason of the delay.
So yeah, I imagine they are chillin on the beach with coctails.

If it was open source, we would have every imaginable FX accessible from the machine and more instruments to play with than free time. and who knows, perhaps also better code optimization.
Honestly, I had no expectation regarding the firmware update but if they make a promise and release the firmware for youtube influencers, would be great to continue the topic and provide the product for the rest of the world.
