Is it possible to record control movements into Cubase 12?

I've got Maschine configured to record notes and play them back from the Cubase track.
But I would love to be able to record parameter changes into the track as well. Haven't been able to.
The performance effects with the touch strip would be so useful to have output controller messages into Cubase and play them back.
Has anyone been able to?

Yes, it's possible.
Parameter changes from inside Maschine is Modulation, when it's external it's Automation, so that's what you're looking for. My Cubase guide does not quite cover this.
Just click the down arrow, select
Host
, enable any parameter you want then enableWrite Automation
in the Cubase track that has Maschine-Plug loaded - Now just twist knobs and automation will be recorded.Same thing for Perform FX, just enable what you want to record automation for:
