Native Access V1 not showing latest updates

No idea where you got the impression from that NA1 was "aimed to be used on Windows 7". Windows 10 exists since 2015, NA2 wasnt a thing until March last year and even at that time it was initially meant for Komplete Now users only.
But I think we digress...

thanks @Monochrome - I remember seeing your post too (amongst several others) which led me to believe that it's a NAv1 Server issue - although NI claim that this is the first time they've heard of it and are suggesting it's something specific on my (our?) systems.
All it needs a CLEAR and UNAMBIGUOUS statement on this - I've said many times that there are 100s of thousands of users still on NAv1 - and they deserve to know that it's no longer going to provide updates.
My feeling is that NI don't really know what the exact situation is or what is being rolled out to where and to who, and that's why they are not commenting. There has been quite an exodus of talent from NI over the last couple of years and I suspect this level of support is the 'new normal'.
We know there are certain number of users who are not able to successfully use NAv2, so much so that there is a recommended role back to V1 procedure - seems those users are now out of luck getting updates.
Personally I believe that NI customers deserve better, especially since NI seem to be promising greater transparency - but I think I've banged my head against the brick wall that is NI for long enough.

Hi - just checking this thread as I need to update a bunch of Kontakt libraries, but my machine will not run NA2 - despite trying everything and with NI support trying to help. NA2 is useless.
Fortunately NA1 continues to work fine for authorising and licensing etc. But for any updates I now have to fudge it using an Apple Mac and networking to my PC-workstation's drives. This is fine for the sample libraries, but clearly won't work for anything else such as Kontakt updates.
So, does anyone here have any suggestions as to how to get NA1 to list and install the latest library updates. NA2 clearly hasn't been tested on legacy machines and fails at every opportunity - prossibly because it's not design for dual CPU machines or big beasty workstations.
Thanks for any help,
Jon

Native Access 1 is not maintained or developed anymore and can simply not handle newer products and updates, there's no way around it unfortunately. Please get back to support and explain the situation, they can maybe provide some installers for the products you are missing.

Even if you to some extend should manage to get N.A. 1 to do some of that then in general it would be a futile effort because in general you will need both an OS new enough (supported by newest versions) and the latest version of Native Access to have things work correctly. I have no stake in any of this and I am only trying to inform you and if you read this thread by Hayo_NI then you can see that the general gist is that you will need newest N.A. .
